About Me
Early Childhood
Early childhood and also in adulthood I was strongly influenced by visual storytelling and films. Added to this my fascination with drawing, I spent a lot of my time learning how to draw and creating stories.
The Sabbatical
Fell in love with drawing, art, philosophy. Took a year long break to pursue studying storytelling, animation and figure drawing. Learning art changes how I see the world and life in general. Meet and learn from some amazing people during this journey.
The first time I tried VR it felt magical and I had to learn how to build VR and AR apps. It allowed me to direct storytelling experiences which had been a lifelong dream. Learning how a camera angle can affect what the viewer felt was eye opening.
Along the way I met some amazing people and made friends for life.
Transition To Product Design
Designing in VR captivated me and piqued my interest in the product design space. I saw product design as the perfect place that allowed me to express my analytical and storytelling side simultaneously. I have been working as a product designer for the past 5 years and have loved every moment of it.
Going Solo
After spending some time leading UX teams on multiple projects, I went on to explore working independently as a consultant product designer.
Learned a great deal about building consensus within the team and facilitating discussions as a external partner.
